## How we waterproof your masonry

The treatment uses a specialised silicone that complies with British Standard 3826, Part 1 for silicone-based water repellents.

Because it repels rather than seals, a treated surface still allows the passage of air and water vapour — so trapped moisture can still escape from the wall.

## Our treatment process

The chemical is applied by low pressure spray to a dry, porous masonry surface. Once the solvents evaporate, the masonry is fully water repellent.

More than one application is usually recommended for reliable coverage. The treatment causes only minimal change in colour to the masonry.

One honest limitation: the coating will not prevent water penetration under pressure much above 20 pounds per square inch, so it is not a substitute for tanking below ground.
